Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey began at 14 years old. Aspen Ladd started training in kickboxing, BJJ, wrestling and boxing before her professional debut at WCFC when she was 18. Ladd went on an impressive 3-fight winning streak at Ultimate Reno Combat. In the three fights, she defeated her opponent right in the first round. Then she returned to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia dominated Aspen to beat her a unanimous decision, putting the mark of a loss on Aspen's record for amateur. Ladd bounced back from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to improve her record to 8-1. Aspen was a professional when she entered the ranks in 2015. She joined Invicta FC and made her debut. She fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11, where she dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. The next time she fought, she won in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills defeated McGill in the first round, and she managed to finish her third round by TKO (elbows and strikes). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen was a dominant Hoy and defeated her in the second round with a TKO. As for her final fight for this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Eubanks via an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC at UFC Fight Night 118, with a bout against Lina Langsberg. She outclassed Lina as she ground-and-pound pounded her for a TKO victory in the second round. The next time she fought Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd beat Evinger to the punch in the initial round, and was awarded the Bonus Performance of the Night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee the fight was between Sijara-Eubanks for her first significant fight. Ladd won the night's fight bonus fight after the two fighters engaged in a fierce back and forth battle. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd's winning streak within 16 seconds. In the third round of UFC at ESPN 7, she defeated Yana Kunitskaya. As a replacement She fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
